What this method prevents

A confidence statement is mistaken for authority to act, even though scope, evidence and consequences were never aligned.

Illustrative example

An analysis may support a controlled pilot and expert review while explicitly not supporting organisation-wide deployment.

A controlled sequence

  1. Identify the achieved Reliance Class.
  2. State the permitted purpose and audience.
  3. State prohibited or unsupported uses.
  4. List conditions, review and expiry requirements.
  5. Name remaining uncertainty and weakest link.
  6. Require authorised human decision where applicable.

The method supports governance; it does not self-authorise a decision.

Application must be proportionate to the task, evidence and consequence level. The output should state what has been registered, what remains uncertain and which authorised human or organisation controls release.
